White Water Rafting in the Blue Ridge Mountains

White water
rivers are abundant throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains!
The middle section of the Ocoee River is a class III-IV river, with the entrance rapid, Grumpy's, a class IV rapid that propels you on an exhilarating and adventurous ride.

The Nantahala River (across the border in North Carolina) takes you down a mild run of eight miles of Class II rapids before taking on the more challenging whitewater of the Class III Nantahala Falls.

Several gentler, Class I and II river rapids are great for tubing, kayaking and having fun!
